Another new grocery store is headed to the Lowcountry.
Matthews, N.C.-based Harris Teeter plans to build a 76,000-square-foot supermarket in the mixed-use Nexton community near Summerville, according to Ken Seeger, president of WestRock Land and Development, which is overseeing development of the 4,500-acre community.
The store will be located on 13 acres near the intersection of Brighton Park Boulevard and Nexton Parkway. Construction will begin after completion of the new interchange being constructed on Interstate 26 at Mile Marker 197, which is slated to open in 2018, Seeger said.
The store is expected to open about a year later.

I had prepared for the day as much as possible the night before but I sat there anxious, nervously holding my 2 week notice. I was making the bold jump from Property Management to Residential sales. Though I was blindly jumping off the “faith” branch, I knew the strength of the market and that it was now or never.
